Rispetto alla stagione precedente si aggiunsero tre nuove franchigie, i Columbus Cagerz, i New Jersey Shorecats e i Washington Congressionals. I Philadelphia Power si trasferirono a Camden, rinominandosi Camden Power. I Florida Sharks, i Portland Wave e i Westchester Kings si sciolsero.
